Yarn Market Hotel

The staff EXCELLED at customer service. They were happy to provide anything that we needed. The meals were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The chef took all dietary restrictions into consideration. I will definitely return to this magical place. One thing to note- the hotel is in an old building, and Dunster is an old town with cobbled streets. It would be very difficult for someone with disabilities to stay at the hotel and get around the town.

We stayed here some days on a tour through the South West of England. We had an absolute lovely time. Antony and his crew are very helpful. The rooms are good sized and clean. Service is spot on, every time of the day. He got on the coach with us and showed us the beauty of the Exmoor National Park. He was a great addition to the program and i can’t thank them enough!

We’re currently at the end of a wonderful stay at the Yarn Market Hotel in Dunster. My partner, myself and our energetic Husky have enjoyed every moment. We arrived one day earlier than our organised dog walking holiday to have a ‘proper’ break and are so pleased that we extended our stay. The family room we were allocated is very spacious and comfortable. The food served at the restaurant is delicious - we’ve eaten both breakfast and dinner and considering we’ve been putting in the mileage these past few days, the Classic Breakfast has served us well until the evening! It is requested, if staying for dinner if you could make your choice of dishes-this is so that the very freshest ingredients can be sourced. The menu changes daily and there are four choices to each course, with a vegan/vegetarian option available without fail. Every single member of staff is friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our main interaction was with Anthony and Mark who have been wonderful with their great knowledge of the area and courtesy. Thank you so very much for making our time in Dunster a fantastic holiday.

Well, what can I say? The Quilling Guild's first-ever residential break experience at the Yarn Market Hotel was perfect in every way! Comfortable rooms, delicious food (tailored to our requirements), superb location, a spacious and well-equipped hobby room for our exclusive use ... just brilliant! Better still, nothing was too much trouble for Antony and his excellent team who looked after us so well and arranged transport for sightseeing trips to some truly wonderful places without us even asking! This hotel is just perfect for a residential hobby break such as ours, and we will be back (return trip booked already!)
